My talent derived from a love of baking that started in Kansas at an early age. I spent countless hours watching my parents cooking and baking in the kitchen, only to begin doing so myself in my early teens. I spent years in the banking industry with an emphasis on Customer Service before deciding to study cake decorating. Once I started, I knew I had found my passion. I spent months reading, taking classes, and asking questions to make sure that every detail was as beautiful as the next. I then spent time teaching professional cake decorating for Wilton Industries in Tulsa, OK before deciding to devote all of my time to McNeill Manor. 

When designing a cake, I believe it is essential for me to visually understand what the client is envisioning. I make certain to let the customer know that I put as much care and importance in their individual cake as I would for a family member. I derive my inspiration from nature, art, magazines and the client I am working for. I constantly strive to make certain that I can offer contemporary trends by taking classes from talented sugar artists and instructors.
